Ryan Blaney is staying put for the long haul, signing a multi-year contract extension to remain with Team Penske in the NASCAR Cup Series.
The 2023 champion has been a full-time driver of the No. 12 Ford since 2018, but his history with the organization goes back even further, making starts for Penske as early as 2012. Over that time, Blaney has developed into one of the most consistent and respected drivers in the sport.
“Roger’s commitment to me and my career has been something a driver could only dream of,” Blaney said. “To still be a part of this team and continue building something special means everything.”
Along with the extension, Team Penske also confirmed a continued partnership with Menards, a longtime sponsor that has played a key role in the team’s success.
Blaney, now 32, has won races in nine of the last ten seasons and has totaled 18 career victories. He has also recorded at least 17 top-10 finishes in each of the past seven full seasons, showing just how steady he has been at the top level.
Team owner Roger Penske praised Blaney’s growth and leadership within the organization.
“Ryan has developed into one of the elite drivers in the Cup Series,” Penske said. “We believe he will continue to build momentum and compete for wins and championships.”
Through the first part of the 2026 season, Blaney sits fourth in the standings with one win, three top-five finishes, and seven top 10s. His consistency continues to make him a major contender each week.
With this deal, Team Penske locks in one of its cornerstone drivers as it looks to stay competitive for years to come.
