NASCAR Race Hub to End After 14 Years

After over 14 years on the air, the daily NASCAR news/analysis program NASCAR Race Hub will broadcast its final episode on Fox Sports 1 next month. The one-hour weekday show, which debuted in 2009 on the Speed Channel before moving to FS1 in 2013, is being canceled, with the last edition set to air on June 11th. NASCAR Race Hub provided fans with a nightly dose of racing updates, interviews, analysis and more during the season, featuring a rotating crew of hosts and experts like Chad Knaus, Michael Waltrip and Jamie McMurray. One of its most popular segments was “Radioactive,” recapping recent races with team radio audio. Though it hit the 2,500 episode milestone in January, Race Hub could not survive the latest round of programming cuts at Fox Sports. Its cancellation leaves a void in dedicated daily NASCAR programming on FS1. Continue reading NASCAR Race Hub to End After 14 Years

Stewart-Haas Racing Reportedly Putting Entire Operation Up for Sale

In a surprising development, reports indicate that Stewart-Haas Racing may be putting its entire NASCAR operation and facility up for sale – not just its four coveted Cup Series charters. Details are emerging that SHR’s sprawling Kannapolis, North Carolina campus that houses both its NASCAR and Formula 1 programs could be on the market as well. With SHR entering the final year of its Ford deal in 2024, the team appears to have flexibility to make major changes like downsizing or potentially exiting the sport altogether through a sale. The charter market has been booming, so SHR’s four Cup charters would be in high demand. But listing the entire facility suggests co-owners Tony Stewart and Gene Haas may be open to parting with much more than just the NASCAR team. All eyes are on how this shakes out and the future for SHR’s drivers. Continue reading Stewart-Haas Racing Reportedly Putting Entire Operation Up for Sale

Mosack Spoils Dominant Day for Gray, JGR at Kansas

Connor Mosack played the role of spoiler once again for Joe Gibbs Racing in the ARCA Menards Series race at Kansas Speedway. Despite Tanner Gray leading 75 laps and appearing in control, Mosack ran down the dominant JGR driver late and made the winning pass with 13 laps remaining to claim his second consecutive Kansas victory. It continued a recent trend of the family-run Pinnacle Racing Group team denying JGR wins with late-race charges, following similar scenarios last year at Nashville, Iowa and Dover. While Gray missed out on becoming the sixth set of ARCA winning brothers, Mosack backed up his consistent 2023 season with PRG by adding Kansas to his previous win there last fall with JGR. The ARCA season rolls on to Charlotte in a few weeks. Continue reading Mosack Spoils Dominant Day for Gray, JGR at Kansas
