Rob Gronkowski is heading back to Indianapolis Motor Speedway, this time returning as the grand marshal of the Coors Light Snake Pit for the 2026 Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, May 24.
The four-time Super Bowl champion and FOX Sports NFL analyst will once again help lead one of the biggest infield party scenes in motorsports, blending the energy of the Indy 500 with a full-scale electronic music festival.
Gronkowski said the experience left a lasting impression last year and made the decision to return an easy one. “The Indy 500 Coors Light Snake Pit is one of the coolest combinations of sports and music out there,” he said. “I had to come back to keep the party going and celebrate the biggest race in the world.”
The Snake Pit has become a signature part of Indy 500 race day, featuring a massive EDM lineup in the infield near Turn 3. This year’s headliner is Grammy Award-winning DJ Zedd, joined by Crankdat, Wooli, it’s murph, and Wax Motif.
Gates open early on race day, turning the infield into a full festival atmosphere alongside the world’s biggest single-day sporting event. General admission tickets start at $85, with VIP options offering premium viewing areas, private bars, and upgraded amenities.
For Gronkowski, who played 11 NFL seasons with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the event is another chance to stay close to big-time sports while embracing a different kind of crowd energy. Since retiring in 2022, he has remained active as a broadcaster and continues to build his presence across entertainment and sports media.
The 2026 Indy 500 Snake Pit once again blends racing, music, and celebrity presence into one of the most unique race day experiences in the world.
