Sheppard Returns to Rocket1 Racing, McCreadie Moves to Briggs Transport

Brandon Sheppard, fresh off clinching his fifth World of Outlaws Late Model Series championship, will return to the Rocket Chassis house car in 2025. The New Berlin, Illinois driver, who previously piloted the iconic machine to four WoO titles between 2017-2022, was announced Monday as Rocket1’s new driver by team owner Mark Richards.
The move comes just days after Sheppard wrapped up his championship season with the Longhorn Factory Team at Charlotte. In a related development, current Rocket1 driver Tim McCreadie will transition to Briggs Transport Racing, where he’ll team up with longtime friend Boom Briggs. Both Sheppard and McCreadie will compete on the 2025 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, maintaining close technical collaboration between their programs.
