Haiden Deegan delivered a statement performance in St. Louis, clinching his second consecutive Western Divisional 250SMX Class Championship during the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship stop at The Dome at America’s Center.
The night also featured the annual Love Moto Stop Cancer Supercross, supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, adding extra meaning to an already pivotal race.
Deegan entered the East/West Showdown with a chance to lock up the title and wasted no time asserting himself. After starting sixth, he charged through the field and took control of the race before the halfway mark. Once out front, Deegan was untouchable, pulling away to a dominant victory of more than 15 seconds—his sixth win of the season.
The result, combined with a 15th-place finish from teammate Max Anstie, officially secured the championship for Deegan. It marks the sixth title of his career and further cements his legacy as one of the most accomplished riders in 250SMX history.
Cole Davies finished second and extended his lead in the Eastern Divisional standings, while Seth Hammaker earned his fifth straight podium in third.
In the 450SMX Class, Ken Roczen continued his hot streak with a second straight victory. Roczen took control early and steadily built a gap on the field, ultimately winning by over 13 seconds in another commanding ride.
Justin Cooper matched the best finish of his career in second, while Hunter Lawrence battled through injury to secure third and rejoin the championship lead fight.
Meanwhile, points leader Eli Tomac finished sixth, allowing the standings to tighten significantly. Lawrence now shares the points lead, with Roczen closing to within five points as the title fight intensifies heading into the final stretch of the season.
