Seattle brought the perfect mix of energy, excitement, and chaos as Round 6 of the 2026 Monster Energy Supercross season turned into one of the most intense nights of racing so far. Inside Lumen Field, fans watched two unforgettable main events that tested riders with rough conditions, deep ruts, and nonstop pressure from start to finish.
When the night ended, it was Eli Tomac who stood on top once again, earning his third victory of the season after one of the toughest battles of the year.
The 450SMX Class Main Event opened with Cooper Webb grabbing the holeshot and taking early control. Tomac settled into second while the front group quickly pulled away from the rest of the field. As the race moved past the halfway point, the track became more technical and physically demanding. Tomac slowly closed the gap and finally made a clean, decisive pass for the lead.
From there, he controlled the race with smart line choices and smooth riding while others struggled with mistakes and traffic. Even when lapped riders allowed Webb to get closer, Tomac stayed calm and pulled away again, eventually winning by more than nine seconds. The victory marked his 56th career win and showed that experience still makes a difference when conditions turn difficult.
Webb finished second, earning his third straight podium, while Justin Cooper claimed his first podium of the season in third after avoiding trouble late in the race.
One of the biggest storylines came from Hunter Lawrence, who charged from seventh and nearly reached third before a mistake in the sand section sent both him and Ken Roczen to the ground. Lawrence recovered to finish fourth, which was just enough to hold onto the championship points lead by a single point over Tomac. Roczen, meanwhile, dropped to a season-low tenth place.
Tomac said the Seattle track was one of the toughest of the year, and his best riding came when it mattered most. That confidence helped him bounce back after a difficult outing the previous week.
While the 450 race was intense, the 250SMX Class delivered the night’s most electric showdown. Championship leader Haiden Deegan and hometown favorite Levi Kitchen battled in a race that fans will remember for a long time.
After an early shuffle in positions, Deegan moved into the lead, but Kitchen charged forward and set up a head-to-head duel. The two riders traded the top spot four times as they fought through lapped traffic and changing track conditions. Kitchen briefly opened a gap, but Deegan stayed patient and waited for the right moment to strike.
With just over a minute remaining, Deegan made the final pass and held on for the win. It was his fifth straight victory and further proof that he is the rider to beat this season. Kitchen finished just 1.5 seconds behind, earning huge respect from the crowd after pushing Deegan harder than anyone has all year.

Behind them, Max Anstie rode a steady race to finish third and return to the podium for the first time since the season opener.
The results strengthened Deegan’s control of the championship standings as he heads into the break with a strong points lead. Even so, the battle with Kitchen showed that the competition is closing in.
Seattle delivered everything fans could ask for: rough racing conditions, dramatic passes, and championship drama. Tomac proved he can still rise when the pressure is highest, while Deegan and Kitchen gave the crowd a rivalry that feels like the start of something special.
If this night was any sign of what is ahead, the rest of the Supercross season is going to be must-watch racing.
