Front Row Motorsports enters the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season looking to build on continuity after a year filled with change. Last season marked the team’s expansion to three full-time cars, with Noah Gragson and Zane Smith joining Todd Gilliland. While results were uneven, the foundation is now set. With the driver lineup intact and key pieces returning, Front Row believes steady improvement can put the organization back into playoff contention after missing the postseason the last two years.
The No. 4 Ford of Noah Gragson is searching for a reset in its second season together. Gragson returns with a new crew chief, as Grant Hutchens steps into his first full-time Cup Series role. Last year was difficult for the team, with crashes and DNFs hurting consistency and overall results. Still, Gragson showed flashes of potential, especially at superspeedways, where he finished fourth at Talladega. Building chemistry with Hutchens and finishing races will be the main priorities in 2026.
Todd Gilliland remains the anchor of Front Row Motorsports. Despite being just 25 years old, he is the most experienced driver on the roster and continues to grow into a leadership role. His 2025 season included career-best marks in average finish and a runner-up result at Talladega. At the same time, a drop in the standings showed there is still work to do. Gilliland’s ability to provide stability and set the tone for the team will be critical as Front Row looks to take a step forward.
Zane Smith showed encouraging progress in his second full-time Cup Series season. Winning his first career pole at Talladega and earning a third-place finish at Bristol highlighted his upside. Smith also proved he could run well across different track types, collecting top-10 finishes on short tracks, intermediates, and superspeedways. Turning those highlights into more consistent results will be the key for the No. 38 team in 2026.
For Front Row Motorsports, this season is about turning potential into steady results. The pieces are in place, and the focus now is execution. If the team can reduce mistakes, improve consistency, and capitalize on strong runs, a return to the playoffs is within reach.
