Xfinity Series standout Connor Zilisch was transported by ambulance to the infield care center Saturday at Watkins Glen after tumbling from his car during victory lane celebrations.

The incident happened moments after Zilisch secured his series-leading sixth win of the season. As he climbed onto the driver’s side door to celebrate, he lost his footing and fell.

Track personnel quickly placed Zilisch on a stretcher and fitted him with a neck brace before loading him into the ambulance.

Zilisch is slated to make his fourth NASCAR Cup Series start on Sunday.

Update: Zilisch has been released from the hospital.
