Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing has officially announced that Haiden Deegan will make his highly anticipated move to the premier 450 class in 2026, signing a multi-year extension with the team.
The reigning 250SMX and Pro Motocross Champion has put together one of the most impressive résumés in recent memory, racking up back-to-back SMX titles, the 2024 Pro Motocross crown, and the 2025 250SX West Championship. Before stepping up, Deegan will close out his 250 career with one more run at a Supercross title in 2025.
Come 2026, Deegan will debut aboard the Yamaha YZ450F, taking on the sport’s best in Pro Motocross and the SMX World Championship Finals. With his aggressive style, championship pedigree, and a proven track record, expectations are high for “DangerBoy” as he joins the elite ranks of the 450 class.
