The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is set to make its highly anticipated return to Rockingham Speedway this Friday for the Black’s Tire 200, marking the seventh event of the 2025 campaign. A strong field of 35 trucks will take to the historic North Carolina track, just shy of the 36-truck maximum field size.
Fresh off his first victory with Front Row Motorsports at Bristol Motor Speedway last weekend, Chandler Smith will look to make it back-to-back wins behind the wheel of the No. 38 Ford F-150. The momentum from Bristol could prove valuable as the series tackles “The Rock” for the first time in years.
The entry list features an intriguing mix of veterans and up-and-coming talent. Notable entries include Spire Motorsports’ duo of Sammy Smith in the No. 07 and dirt racing standout Corey Day in the No. 7. TRICON Garage’s Brandon Jones will pilot the No. 1 truck, while Parker Kligerman returns in the No. 75 for Henderson Motorsports.
Several developmental drivers will be seeking their first career NASCAR Truck Series victories, including Luke Fenhaus in ThorSport Racing’s No. 66 entry. Reaume Brothers Racing will field Stephen Mallozzi in the No. 2 and Cody Dennison in the No. 22, while series veteran Norm Benning returns in his self-owned No. 6 truck.
Other notable entrants include Bayley Currey in Niece Motorsports’ No. 44, Timmy Hill driving his family-owned No. 56, and Justin Carroll representing Terry Carroll Motorsports in the No. 90.
With all 35 entrants guaranteed a starting position, the focus will shift to qualifying performance as teams prepare for what should be an exciting return to one of NASCAR’s most challenging tracks.
