NASCAR Champion Joey Logano to Meet President Trump at White House

Joey Logano, the reigning 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Champion, is scheduled to meet with President Donald Trump this Wednesday at the White House. The meeting will take place at the South Portico for a ceremonial photo opportunity, according to the president’s public event schedule.

The ceremony, expected to last approximately 30 minutes, will be open to the White House Press Pool. Logano will be joined by other racing champions for this traditional recognition of motorsports achievements.

This marks the return of NASCAR champions to the White House after a hiatus. The last similar event occurred in May 2019, when Logano visited to celebrate his first Cup Series Championship. During that previous visit, he was accompanied by his wife Brittany and Team Penske owner Roger Penske.

Prior to Logano’s 2019 appearance, Martin Truex Jr. had visited the White House alongside his late partner Sherry Pollex to commemorate his NASCAR Cup Series Championship.

Following the Wednesday photo opportunity with the NASCAR champions, President Trump is scheduled to return to the Oval Office for a closed press meeting where he will sign additional executive orders.

The tradition of NASCAR champions visiting the White House has been a longstanding practice to honor achievements in one of America’s most popular motorsports.
