Brad Keselowski Treated for Heat Exhaustion After Cooling System Failure at COTA

Brad Keselowski faced a grueling battle at Circuit of The Americas on Sunday, not just against the competition, but against the intense heat after his cooling system failed during the NASCAR Cup Series EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix.

Keselowski, who finished 15th in his RFK Racing No. 6 Ford, had to be carried from pit road on a stretcher after the checkered flag. NASCAR officials confirmed that the 41-year-old driver was treated and later released from the track’s infield care center. RFK Racing later stated on social media that his cool suit had malfunctioned, but his condition improved after receiving intravenous fluids.

Despite the physical toll, Keselowski’s result marked a step forward in his 2025 campaign. After tough finishes of 26th at Daytona and 39th at Atlanta, his 15th-place effort at COTA stands as his best of the season so far.

Sitting 26th in the Cup Series standings, Keselowski will look to build momentum heading into the next race, hopefully with a fully functional cooling system to avoid another grueling post-race recovery.
