Corey Heim Signs Multi-Year Driver Development Contract With 23XI Racing

23XI Racing announced Sunday morning at Atlanta Motor Speedway that they have signed Corey Heim to a multi-year contract as the organization’s first-ever development driver. The 22-year-old Georgia native will pilot the No. 67 Toyota in select NASCAR Cup Series races this season with veteran crew chief Bootie Barker.

Heim, who will remain part of the Toyota Driver Development Program, is set to make his first 2025 Cup Series start at Kansas Speedway in May. The track holds significance for Heim, as he scored his career-best Cup finish of 22nd there last season while substituting for the injured Erik Jones at LEGACY MOTOR CLUB.

“It’s a dream come true to be a part of 23XI,” said Heim. “I’m blessed to have the chance to compete in all three series as I continue to set my sights on full-time Cup racing when that time comes.”

The agreement includes multiple NASCAR Xfinity Series starts with Sam Hunt Racing in a Toyota Supra GR supported by 23XI Racing. Heim will continue his full-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series duties with TRICON Garage, where he has amassed 12 career victories.

“Corey continues to prove he is a talented, hard-working driver,” said Steve Lauletta, President of 23XI Racing. “We plan to make all the resources of 23XI available to support his development within the Toyota family as he progresses in NASCAR.”
