TNT Sports Revolutionizes NASCAR Viewing Experience with New Driver Cam Feature on Max

TNT Sports is set to transform how fans experience NASCAR with the launch of its innovative “NASCAR Driver Cam” feature, debuting exclusively on Max during the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium. This groundbreaking technology will provide unprecedented access to every Cup Series driver throughout the entire 38-race season.

The new feature delivers an immersive racing experience through 1080p Driver Cam feeds, complete with scanner audio and ambient car noise from inside each race car. TNT Sports has confirmed this represents the highest fidelity video ever made available from within the vehicles.

Viewers will have multiple viewing options at their disposal. They can focus on individual driver cameras or choose between two pre-set multiview stream options, each featuring four drivers. Adding an interactive element to the experience, these featured drivers will be selected based on compelling storylines and determined by fan votes conducted through B/R Racing’s social media platforms on X and Instagram.

The viewing experience is further enhanced with real-time statistics and telemetry data. Fans can track essential race information including stage, lap number, position, and race status. Additionally, detailed telemetry data for each driver displays crucial metrics such as speed, RPM, and gear selection.

The platform offers robust playback features, allowing users to pause, rewind, and fast forward live video during races. After each event, complete replays of individual driver streams will be available for on-demand viewing. All NASCAR Driver Cam content will be accessible through Max’s live sports schedule page.

This innovative feature is part of TNT Sports’ broader seven-year media rights agreement with NASCAR, which commences this season. The network will broadcast five Cup Series races during the summer months, starting at Atlanta Motor Speedway on June 28, followed by races at Chicago (July 6), Sonoma Raceway (July 13), Dover Motor Speedway (July 20), and Indianapolis Motor Speedway (July 27).

These five TNT Sports broadcasts will feature an additional competitive element as part of NASCAR’s first-ever in-season, bracket-style tournament, with the top 32 drivers competing for a $1 million prize.

Beyond the main race broadcasts, TNT Sports’ coverage expansion includes exclusive practice and qualifying sessions for the season’s second half, which will be aired on truTV and Max. The network has indicated that additional details regarding NASCAR production and programming will be announced in the future.

This comprehensive digital offering represents a significant step forward in NASCAR broadcasting, providing fans with unprecedented access and control over their viewing experience while setting a new standard for motorsports coverage in the streaming era.
