The Monster Energy Supercross returns to Angel Stadium this weekend for Anaheim 2, where several riders are chasing significant career milestones. Eli Tomac’s recent victory marked his 53rd win in the 450SX Class, placing him alongside Chad Reed with 11 different seasons earning a win. His 102nd podium pushed him past Ryan Dungey for third all-time. Cooper Webb’s latest podium moves him ahead of Ryan Villopoto on the all-time list with 64 career 450SX Class podiums.
The event marks the 26th running of Anaheim 2, a race that has proven to be a strong indicator of championship success. An impressive 68% of A2 winners have gone on to claim the 450SX Class title that season. Chase Sexton, who won the 2025 season opener at Anaheim, could become the sixth rider to complete the Anaheim sweep and the first to accomplish this feat on a KTM.
In the 250SX Class, sensation Julien Beaumer holds the red plate after becoming the 124th different winner in the class. The young KTM rider achieved his first career victory in just his 12th start. Veteran Jordon Smith continues to climb the record books, tying Shane McElrath for second on the all-time 250SX Class podiums list with 26.
With history and championships on the line, this weekend’s racing promises to add another thrilling chapter to Anaheim’s rich Supercross legacy.
