The 2025 SMX World Championship is heating up as the series returns to Angel Stadium of Anaheim for Round 3 this Saturday, January 25. With incredibly tight points battles in both classes, the racing promises to be intense.
In the premier 450 class, an ultra-competitive start to the season has left just 4 points separating the top four riders. Perhaps most surprisingly, defending SMX champion Jett Lawrence finds himself 10 points back in fifth position, looking to make up ground this weekend.
The 250 West division tells a similar story, with only 7 points between the top three competitors. Like Lawrence in the 450s, defending champion Haiden Deegan sits fourth in the standings, 10 points off the lead and hungry to reclaim his position at the front.
