SUNNYD Returns to Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Hyak Motorsports for the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series Season

As the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season approaches, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and the newly rebranded Hyak Motorsports are gearing up for success with a familiar partner onboard. SUNNYD, a long-time supporter of Stenhouse, will return as a primary sponsor for the No. 47 Chevrolet in five races this season, continuing a partnership that dates back to the driver’s rookie year in 2013.

“SUNNYD has been a longtime supporter of mine throughout my career,” said Stenhouse, the reigning 2023 Daytona 500 Champion. “We’ve become family. I’m looking forward to continuing that relationship at Hyak Motorsports and trying to get them in victory lane this year.”

A Bold Return for the Clash and Daytona 500

The iconic SUNNYD colors will debut on the No. 47 Chevrolet in the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium, kicking off the season with the fan-favorite exhibition race. The partnership will then take center stage at the season-opening Daytona 500, where Stenhouse hopes to replicate his 2023 success and secure another victory at the historic track.

Henk Hartong, Chairman of SUNNYD, expressed his excitement about the continued partnership. “The 2025 season marks the 10th consecutive year that SUNNYD is a primary sponsor in the NASCAR Cup Series. We have been with Ricky since his 2013 rookie season and are excited to have him in this SUNNYD paint scheme for the Clash and Daytona 500. We’re grateful to our fans and customers for their loyal support of SUNNYD and what can be considered the best paint scheme on the track. We look forward to our ongoing partnership with Hyak Motorsports and the No. 47 car and splashing SUNNYD on Ricky in victory lane.”

Expanding SUNNYD’s Presence on the Track

In addition to the Clash and Daytona 500, SUNNYD will be the primary sponsor for three other key races in 2025:

  • Bristol Motor Speedway (April)
  • Texas Motor Speedway (May 4)
  • NASCAR All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway (May 18)

Stenhouse earned his spot in the 2025 NASCAR All-Star Race with a victory at Talladega Superspeedway last fall, and the No. 47 team will look to make a splash under the lights at North Wilkesboro.

Furthermore, SUNNYD will maintain a presence as an associate sponsor for the No. 47 car throughout the entire season, solidifying its commitment to both Stenhouse and Hyak Motorsports.

Hungry Jack Joins the Lineup

SUNNYD’s sister brand, Hungry Jack, will also step up as the primary sponsor for Stenhouse at Atlanta Motor Speedway on June 28. This collaboration expands the partnership’s reach while showcasing the versatility of its brands.

Stenhouse Aims for Playoff Success

Stenhouse, a native of Olive Branch, Mississippi, has carved out a steady career in the NASCAR Cup Series, boasting four wins over 436 races. He has earned two Playoff berths, in 2017 and 2023, and will aim to secure a third in 2025 while building on the momentum of his Daytona 500 triumph and Talladega victory.

With the backing of SUNNYD and Hyak Motorsports, Stenhouse is poised to take on the 2025 season with a strong foundation and high hopes. Fans can expect bold colors, exciting performances, and the possibility of SUNNYD gracing victory lane once again.
