Young’s Motorsports Signs Anthony Alfredo for 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Campaign

Young’s Motorsports announced today that Anthony Alfredo will join their organization for the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, piloting the team’s flagship No. 42 entry with backing from Dude Wipes and RANDCO Industries.

The 25-year-old Connecticut native enters his fourth full-time Xfinity Series season following a strong 2024 campaign where he finished 15th in the championship standings. His previous season highlights included capturing an Xfinity Dash 4 Cash victory at Dover Motor Speedway, along with two additional top-five and seven top-10 finishes across his 118 career Xfinity starts.

“I am very excited to join the Young’s Motorsports team this season,” said Alfredo. “I certainly respect what Tyler and his team are building. It’s clear they are determined to become a serious contender in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and I look forward to being a part of that. I am grateful for the opportunity and am ready to make the most of it.”

Young’s Motorsports, entering their second year of Xfinity Series competition, aims to build upon their impressive fourth-place result at Talladega Superspeedway last April. Team principal Tyler Young expressed enthusiasm about their new driver acquisition: “This is huge for us. Anthony is a wheelman. The Xfinity Series competition is stout, he absolutely has what it takes to win in this field. I am pumped we get to keep growing our Xfinity program with him this season.”

The team will retain veteran crew chief Andrew Abbott, who brings considerable experience to the program with 130 Xfinity starts since 2019, including four top-fives and 13 top-10 finishes under his leadership.

Alfredo will make his debut in the No. 42 Dude Wipes Camaro at the season opener at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, February 15th, 2025. The race will be broadcast on The CW Network.
