TNT Sports and Amazon Prime Reveal Complete Broadcasting Team for 2025 NASCAR Coverage

In a significant development for NASCAR broadcasting, TNT Sports and Amazon Prime Video announced Monday their full commentary lineup for the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series, adding veteran broadcaster Adam Alexander and analyst Steve Letarte to join previously announced NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Alexander will handle play-by-play duties across both platforms, bringing nearly two decades of NASCAR broadcasting experience from his 19-year tenure at FOX Sports. During his time at FOX, Alexander demonstrated versatility in multiple roles, including booth commentary, pit reporting, and studio hosting across various NASCAR series.

The announcement reunites Letarte with his former driver Earnhardt Jr., rekindling a partnership that previously yielded five Cup Series victories during their time together at Hendrick Motorsports. Letarte, who accumulated 15 Cup Series wins as a crew chief before transitioning to broadcasting in 2015, will maintain his current analyst role with NBC Sports while joining the Prime and TNT coverage team.

The networks will split coverage of ten mid-season races equally, with Prime Video making its NASCAR debut through the prestigious Coca-Cola 600 on May 25. Prime’s coverage schedule notably includes NASCAR’s groundbreaking first event in Mexico City on June 15. TNT’s portion begins June 28 at Atlanta Motor Speedway and will feature coverage of NASCAR’s inaugural in-season tournament, which offers a $1 million prize to the winner.

In addition to his broadcasting duties, Earnhardt Jr., who began his television career with NBC Sports in 2018, will expand his media presence through TNT’s Bleacher Report digital platforms via his Dirty Mo Media production company.

This broadcasting arrangement is part of NASCAR’s newly announced seven-year media rights package that runs through 2031, with Prime Video and TNT Sports joining FOX and NBC as the sport’s broadcast partners. The deal represents Amazon’s first foray into NASCAR coverage, marking another significant step in the streaming giant’s expanding sports portfolio.

The combination of Alexander’s experienced play-by-play, Letarte’s technical expertise, and Earnhardt Jr.’s driver perspective promises to bring fresh energy and insight to NASCAR coverage as the sport continues to evolve its media presence across traditional and streaming platforms.
