In a groundbreaking announcement, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series has unveiled ambitious plans for its 2025 season, featuring significant prize money increases, an expanded schedule, and a new streaming partnership.
Record-Breaking Points Fund
The series has dramatically increased its points fund to over $1.3 million, with the champion set to receive an unprecedented $250,000 purse. The enhancement ensures that all top five drivers will earn a minimum of $100,000, marking a substantial increase in competitor compensation.
FloRacing Partnership
A multi-year extension with FloRacing has been announced, elevating the streaming platform to presenting sponsor status. The series will now be known as the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, presented by FloRacing, strengthening the partnership between the two organizations.
Expanded Schedule and Increased Purses
The 2025 schedule features 58 events across 25 venues in 16 states, with 23 events offering prizes of $25,000 or more to the winner. Notable increases include:
Friday standalone events increased to $15,000 to win
Saturday standalone events boosted to $25,000 to win
Eagle Raceway’s High Bank Heist expanded to a three-day event with a $50,000 finale
Show-Me 100 finale increased to $75,000

Enhanced Support for Competitors
The series has also expanded its winners circle program to support 15 full-time drivers, up from 12 in previous years. Eligible drivers will receive a minimum of $700 per venue, with top performers from the previous season earning $1,000 per event.
The total additional investment in purse money for 2025 exceeds $800,000 compared to the 2024 season, demonstrating the series’ commitment to growth and competitor support.
“We’ve built a schedule that balances tradition with excitement,” said Rick Schwallie, Director of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. “The increased investment reflects our dedication to the growth and success of our tour while ensuring fans enjoy action-packed weekly events featuring the nation’s top drivers.”
