The ARCA Menards Series is set to make its 34th appearance at Michigan’s Berlin Raceway with the Berlin ARCA 200 on Saturday, June 29. The event, scheduled for 8 p.m. ET, will be broadcast live on FloRacing, with a delayed broadcast on FS1 at 9:30 p.m. ET.
Historical Significance
Berlin Raceway has been a fixture in ARCA racing since 1958 when Les Snow claimed victory in the inaugural event. After a periodic presence on the schedule until 1973 and a brief return in 1986, the track has been a consistent part of the ARCA calendar since 1999. Over the years, the 7/16-mile oval has seen victories from notable drivers such as Frank Kimmel, Erik Jones, and most recently, William Sawalich.
What to Watch For
Defending race winner William Sawalich enters as the favorite, fresh off his second ARCA Menards Series victory of the 2024 season at Mid-Ohio. However, he’ll face stiff competition from a strong field.
Venturini Motorsports will field a formidable lineup, including Sean Hingorani making his 2024 debut in the No. 20 Toyota, and newcomer Gavan Boschele in the No. 55. The team’s roster also includes Amber Balcaen, Toni Breidinger, and Kris Wright.
Rev Racing will be represented by current championship leader Andres Perez and his teammate Lavar Scott. Other notable entries include Christian Rose for AM Racing and Greg Van Alst in his own No. 35 car.
Race Details
The Berlin ARCA 200 will consist of 200 laps around the 7/16-mile oval. The field is limited to 26 starters plus provisionals. The race will feature a break pit stop procedure, with breaks near laps 75 and 125.
Qualifying will involve two consecutive laps, with no adjustments allowed after taking the green flag. All drivers must practice before qualifying, and all cars must make a qualifying attempt.
